O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to take action on the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.03.2018, in accordance with law.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 13.03.2018 to the first respondent and the first respondent has received the same on 14.03.2018. Again, he sent a representation to the District Collector, Madurai as well as the first respondent. However, the first respondent has not taken any action on the representation of the petitioner. Hence, he approached this Court by filing this writ petition with the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
aforesaid prayer.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the present writ petition is not maintainable. But however, if the said representation is pending, the same shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
5. In view of the submissions made by both sides, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.03.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
