ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners in both cases apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 420 and 506(i) IPC.
2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioners have undertaken to settle the matter by paying a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- to the defacto complainant. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that they have already paid a sum of Rs.5,00,000/-. The learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to pay the remaining amount in the first week https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of June, 2018. The petitioners' counsel states that there is proof of having paid the said sum. However, the police deny the knowledge of the same.
3.Recording the undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.
4.The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.
