Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner, to measure the petitioner's property in S.No.5/1 of Melakaram Village, Thenkasi Taluk and District.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner, to measure the petitioner's property in S.No.5/1 of Melakaram Village, Thenkasi Taluk and District.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, would contend that in the prayer, while the petitioner had sought for police protection for measuring his land in S.No.5/1 of Melakaram Village, Thenkasi Taluk and District, in his representation, dated 16.02.2021, he has specifically contended that surveying of his land is already completed and that when he started putting up construction in his land, the private respondents interfered with him. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), would further contend that the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2021 was enquired and closed by the Inspector of Police, Courtallam (Kutralam) Police Station, Tenkasi, directing the petitioner and the private respondents to resolve their dispute before a competent civil Court.
