This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to grant permission and police protection for conducting "Kabadi Torunament" as scheduled to be held on 28.04.2018 from 9.00 p.m to next day 29.04.2018 up to 11.00 a.m at the playground earmarked at Vallalpadu Sri Dharmasastha Temple land, Chettikulam Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 07.04.2018 to the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament on 28.04.2018 night 9.00 p.m to 29.04.2018 till 11.00 a.m at the playground earmarked at Vallalpadu Sri Dharmasastha Temple land, Chettikulam Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 27.04.2018. The petitioner shall enclose a copy of a representation dated 07.04.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.

6.This writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
