ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give power supply connection to the petitioner's property at Survey No.360/9, Maravankulam Village Group, Kamuthi Circle, Kamuthi Sub-Division, Ramanathapuram District.

2. It is informed by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents that the respondents are ready to give electricity connection to the petitioner. He would further inform https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.5439 of 2020 that though the pole is sought to be erected in the pathway, since there is an objection by the local villagers, the respondents may be permitted to approach the Police authorities for getting necessary police protection.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to give electricity connection to the petitioner's property within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As and when the respondents seek Police protection, the jurisdictional police shall give necessary police protection. No costs.
