ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.296 of 2016.

2. The case is that the petitioner's wife was missing from June 2016 onwards and she was not able to be traced thereafter. Therefore, a complaint was given by the petitioner and the respondent police have registered a woman missing case and the investigation is going on.

3. It will be suffice to dispose of this petition by giving a direction to the second respondent to follow the guidelines given by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.19255 of 2016 by an order dated 18.09.2018. The second respondent shall follow the guidelines and proceed with the investigation, in accordance with law.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
