Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 5th respondent to conduct temple festival of Arulmigu Thatchan Kallathi Madasamy Temple of Vannikonendal, Manoor Taluk, Tirunelveli District, jointly by two groups to be held in the Tamill Month Aavani 2026 (August) by considering the representation, dated 13.02.2026.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 5th respondent to conduct temple festival of Arulmigu Thatchan Kallathi Madasamy Temple of Vannikonendal, Manoor Taluk, Tirunelveli District, jointly by two groups to be held in the Tamill Month Aavani 2026 (August) by considering the representation, dated 13.02.2026.

2.This Court without expressing any opinion on merits is directing the 4th respondent to conduct peace committee meeting by calling the petitioner and the rival parties and pass appropriate resolution in accordance to law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
