[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the Petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.425 of 2021 daughter namely, Sangeetha, aged 23 years before this Court and set her at liberty.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The Petitioner is the mother of the detenue. She would state that the respondents 3 to 5 were residing adjacent to her house. The third respondent and her daughter fell in love with each other and they got married and thereafter, they stayed at Sankarankoil and for the past seven months, there is no contact with her. Hence she lodged a complaint with the respondents 1 and 2 on 2.2.2021. Since no action was taken, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.
4.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the Petitioner as well as the detenue appeared through videoconferencing. The detenue is represented by her counsel Mr.K.Dinesh. On enquiry, the detenue would state that she and the third respondent are presently residing at Coimbatore. 5.Recording the above said Statement made by the detenue, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
