ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as the sole accused, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 366-A, 506(i) r/w Sections 7 and 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 in Crime No.213 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, who is a married man, had kidnapped the minor girl, namely, Ajitha and on complaint, a case has been registered.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and both the petitioner and the victim loved each other and when the same was come to the knowledge of the defacto complainant, she assaulted her daughter and the victim girl voluntarily came to the house of the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the victim girl was secured and she gave a statement before the Judicial Magistrate, Srivilliputhur, stating that the petitioner, who is a married, used to tease the victim and kidnapped her. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the contention of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and also considering the gravity of offence levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
