Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the first respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute namely with the petitioners peaceful possession and enjoyment of the shopping premises namely Mahlakshmi Fancy Store situated at Door No.14/1, Dindigul Main Road, Vaiyampatti, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District pending the Civil Suit in OS.No.9/2020 on te file of Sub Court, Manaparai at the instigation of the respondents 2 to 6 herein besides directing him to give police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner. ORDER

The petitioner alleges harassment at the hands of the first respondent police.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the private respondents 2, 3 and 4.

3.The learned counsel for the private respondents submits that they have given a complaint alleging acts of forgery on the part of the petitioner herein. He would also point out that the petitioner filed Civil Suit in O.S.No.182 of 2019 and though an interim injunction was originally granted, the same was subsequently vacated.

4.I consciously refrain from going into the rival contentions. Suffice it to say that the first respondent will consider the complaint given by the respondents 2 to 4 and if any cognizable offence is made out, register a First Information Report. If any First Information Report is registered by the first respondent against the petitioner, the petitioner will be duly informed, so that the petitioner will have breathing time to move Court for anticipatory bail. Likewise, if the first respondent wants to enquire the petitioner, the first respondent will have to issue formal summons in writing.

5.With these directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
