ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH,J.) This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider representation dated 18.07.2017 seeking the issuance of a Community Certificate for the two sons of the petitioner herein.

2.Heard Mr.N.Anandakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Jeyakumar, learned counsel appearing for the sole respondent.

18.07.2017 with necessary enclosures seeking issuance of Community Certificates for the Hindu Kurumans - ST - Community Certificates for his sons, namely, L.Rishi and L.Srikanth. Though the request has been made as early as in the month of July 2017, the short grievance raised is that, the representation of the petitioner has not been considered by the sole respondent till date.

4.Mr.M.Jeyakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that a time frame may be fixed by this Court directing the sole respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation.

5.In view of the aforesaid, we direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
