RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to condone the delay of 130 days in filing the revision petition against the judgment passed in C.A.No.14/17 dated 17.07.19 on the file of the learned IVth Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai confirming the judgment of conviction and sentence passed in S.C.No.41/2015 dated 09.01.2017 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.R.VENKATESWARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/s.A.P.G.OHM CHAIRMA PRABHU, Government Advocate(Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 130 days in filing the Criminal Revision Case against the judgment passed in C.A.No.14 of 2017, dated 17.07.2019 on the file of the learned IVth Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai, confirming the judgment of conviction and sentence passed in S.C.No.41 of 2015, dated 09.01.2017 on the file of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai.

2.Heard Mr.R.Venkateswaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

CRL MP(MD) No.2681 of 2020 3.Mr.A.P.G.Ohm Chairma Prabhu, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), takes notice for the respondent and he did not raise any objection to allow this petition.

4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and in the interest of justice, this petition is allowed on payment of Rs.5,00/- (Rupees Five hundred only) to the Chief Justice Relief Fund (payable in Accounts Section of the High Court Registry), within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which this petition shall stand dismissed automatically without further reference to this Court.
