Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records connected with the detention order passed in H.S(M)Confdl.No. 17/2023, dated 02.02.2023, on the file of the second respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of

the detenue namely Uthandaraman, aged about 24 years, S/o.Gomu, now detained at the Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the Additional Public Prosecutor, by producing a proceeding in G.O.Rt.No.1091 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 27.02.2023 submitted that the detention order has already been revoked. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
