ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No.47 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that these petitioners joined together and ransacked the cow shed of the de facto complainant and also tore her saree and blouse in an open place.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that this is a case and counter.
4. This Court, taking into consideration of the gravity of the allegations levelled against these petitioners, inasmuch as they have tried to undress a lady in a public place, is not inclined to grant Anticipatory Bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
