ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is the accused No.5 and he surrendered before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.6, Madurai on 18.03.2015 and police custody was taken by the respondent police on 14.03.2015. Hence, seeks bail for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 506(i), 302, 120(b) of IPC and r/w Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.40 of 2015, on the file of the respondent police.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence and prays for bail in favour of the petitioner. He has further submitted that the petitioner has been in judicial custody for the past 56 days and the coaccused/A-6 was already released on bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.8668 of 2015, on 30.04.2015.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that investigation is almost over and co-accused has already been released on bail.

4.Considering the long period of custody and also considering the old age of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, Madurai and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
