ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Karur, to expedite the trial in D.V.P.No.8 of 2014, within the time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.Considering the fact that the petition was filed in the year 2014 and that there is also a statutory time limit for disposal of the case filed under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, this Court is inclined to issue the following directions:
"The learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Karur is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in D.V.P.No.8 of 2014 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order".
3.With the above direction, the criminal original petition is allowed.
