ORDER

This Petition is filed to direct the direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide the police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner and his family, from the third respondent, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2023.

2. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint given by the petitioner was treated as a petition and subsequently enquired and the same was closed as civil in nature.

3. In view thereof, the grant of police protection at this juncture does not arise. It is open for the parties to approach the civil Court and if any orders obtained from the civil Court, the parties can again move for police protection.

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
