This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent to file a final report after observing all the formalities of investigation in Crime No.382 of 2016 on the file of the respondent in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that final report itself was filed on 31.08.2016 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, Madurai District and that it is yet to be taken on file in view of the vacancy of the Presiding Officer in the said Court.
