ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/A1 apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 35(b) and 36 of Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882 r/w Rule 10 of Tamil Nadu Timber Transit Rules 1968 in S.T.O.R.No.1 of 2015 on the file of the respondent and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that in this case, investigation is still pending and if the accused is released on bail, he will tamper the evidences and witnesses.

4. Considering the above said submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
