This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to forbear the sixth respondent from conducting the Kummikottu and other religious events scheduled to be held between 03.03.2025 to 12.03.2025, based on petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2025. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 4 and 5 would submit that already the representation of the petitioner was considered and the same was closed on 28.02.2025, by advising the parties to approach the 3/7
civil Court for seeking appropriate remedy.
3.Learned Counsel for the private respondent would submit that the sixth respondent never restrained the petitioner from participating in the events and there are no grounds to allow this petition.
4.This Court heard both sides and perused the records placed before this Court.
5. Considering the prayer of the petitioner and recording the fact that already the representation of the petitioner was considered by the official respondents and the same was closed by advising the parties to seek appropriate remedy before the Civil Court and also the submission of the sixth respondent that they have not restrained the petitioner from participating in the events, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
