O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent Police to file a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Shencottai, in Crime No.133 of 2016, pending investigation on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The petitioner is the de facto complainant and he has given a complaint as against one Nallasamy, for cheating the petitioner to a sum of Rs.8,25,000/-. Though the complaint was entertained, it was earlier reported that the same was closed, in view of the fact that the accused had filed Insolvency Petition. This Court pointed out that the petition for declaring him as insolvent will not absolve him from the criminal offence.

3. Today, it is reported by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent that the final report has already been filed in this case on 14.12.2017, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Shencottai.

4. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
