ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the the respondents to remove petitioner's name from the Rowdy List maintaining by the 3rd respondent Police Station viz., the Inspector of Police, Thogamalai Police Station, Karur District, in H.S.No.17 of 2019. 2.The petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents to remove his name from the History Sheet on 15.02.2022. Since the same was not considered till date, he has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to consider the same by the respondents. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that only on the basis of the FIR registered in Crime No.20 of 2018 on the file of the third respondent police station, the history sheet was opened in respect of the petitioner. The same was tried before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Karur, and ended in acquittal. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation made by the petitioner will be taken for consideration in the meeting scheduled to be held in the month of June. 2/4

4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition stands disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
