O R D E R
This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the second respondent to file a final report within a stipulated time in Crime No.2 of 2017 for the offences under Sections 406, 420 and 506(i) of I.P.C., dated 09.01.2017, on the file of the second respondent based on the complaint, dated 09.01.2017.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's father is the defacto complainant who lodged a complaint which was registered in Crime No.2 of 2017 for the alleged offences under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Sections 406, 420 and 506(i) of I.P.C. The nature of the complaint is that the proposed accused had fraudulently obtained a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- under the guise of getting more money in return. Though the complaint was lodged in the month of January 2017, there was no progress in the investigation and that therefore, the petitioner states that he was constrained to file this petition.
4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of the allegations made against the proposed accused, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:- "The second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.2 of 2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
