ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 28.12.2025for the offences punishable under Sections Girl Missing @ 137 of BNS and Sections 5(n), 5(1) r/w. 6(1) of POCSO Act, in Crime No.191 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The prosecution case is that the petitioner lured the victim away with sexually suggestive inducements and assaulted her. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 28.12.2025. Hence, he seeks bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that the 2/4

petitioner sexually assaulted the victim . Therefore, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. After reading the statement recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C., this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. (S S Y J) 20.02.2026 jbr To
