ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent No.2 to promote the petitioner as Assistant Accounts Officer with effect from the date of passing of the requisite Departmental Tests with all monetary and service benefits by considering the petitioner's representation.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that when a person, who is junior to him, was promoted as Assistant Accounts Officer, he is still working as Accounts Supervisor without promotion being granted to him. So, he submitted a representation, requesting for promotion as Assistant Accounts Officer with retrospective effect. Since such a representation has not been acted upon by the respondents so far, the petitioner has approached this Court. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
