ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to provide electricity service connection to the residential house of the writ petitioner based upon her application dated 29.10.2025.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents brought to the notice of the Court that one Alagammal had filed O.S.No.590 of 2024, before the Principal District Court, Dindigul, seeking partition in which the writ petitioner is also one of the defendants. In view of pendency of the civil suit, they have not provided the service connection.

3. Considering the fact that so far interim order has not been passed by the trial Court for the past one and half years, the respondents are directed to provide service connection to the writ petitioner depending upon the outcome of the civil proceedings. It is made clear that providing service connection would not affect the rights of the parties to the civil suit.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
