ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 409, 420 and 188 of I.P.C., Section 13(2) r/w 13(1)(c) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, in Crime No.5 of 2017, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was working as District Adi-Dravidar and Schedule Tribe Welfare Officer, Virudhunagar during the period from 13.07.2015 to 31.07.2016, 02.12.2016 to 05.01.2017 and there was a proposal for appointment of 19 Cooks and 22 Sanitary Workers and the petitioner appointed 31 persons without following the procedure and without getting permission from the government. After knowing the malpractices, the respondent police registered a complaint against the petitioner and other officers. Against which, the present anticipatory bail application is filed.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that he has not involved in this case and the petitioner did not receive any money from any of the person and the petitioner is innocent person.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State submits that investigation is in initial stage. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and

considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that investigation is in initial stage, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
