When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioners as well as the second respondent / de-facto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent/ de-facto complainant.

3. During the pendency of the criminal case, a compromise was reached between the petitioners and the second respondent/de-facto complainant, at the intervention of the elders of both families. A Joint Compromise Memo dated 19.03.2018, has been filed by them. In the said memorandum of compromise, the de-facto complainant/ second respondent has stated that the dispute has been amicably settled and she has no objection to quash the case pending against the petitioners in Crime No.153 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police.

4. In view of the same, the case in Crime No.153 of 2017 pending on the file of the respondent police is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
