O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to issue a non traceable certificate in respect of the share certificate bearing No. 159633 standing in the name of Late.Sivasubramanian on the basis of the petitioner online complaint dated 22.2.2025.

2.For the sake of convenience, the power agent is termed as petitioner.

3.According to the petitioner, he is the power of attorney of one 2/5

Maragatham and Kanaga Thurka. The said Kanaga Thurka is the daughter of the said Maragatham. One Sivasubramanian is the husband of Maragatham and father of Kanaga Thurka and he purchased the share certificates. While so, the said Sivasubramanian died on 19.11.2012 intestate leaving behind Maragatham and Kanaga Thurka as legal heirs. Thereafter, Maragatham and Kanaga Thurka filed a petition before the Principal Sub Court, Madurai in S.O.P.No.4 of 2018 for succession certificate and the same was allowed on 16.11.2023. They were in possession of original share certificates. While so, during travel, the certificates were lost on 01.02.2025 near K.Pudur Bus Stand, Madurai. Therefore, the said Maragatham sent an online complaint before the first respondent, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the respondent police has received the said online complaint and the same is under consideration, which will be considered and disposed of within a period of fifteen days. 4.

respondent on 11.03.2025 and thereafter, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of fifteen days and to act in accordance with law.
