ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.240 of 2020, dated 21.07.2020 and to file final report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the complainant, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.240 of 2020 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) and 307 IPC and that the investigation is pending. Hence, he seeks two months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
