ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.97 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent.

2. On the complaint lodged by the second respondent, F.I.R is registered in Crime No.97 of 2022 for the offences under Section 294 (b) and 506(1) of IPC.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that there are totally five accused persons in which the petitioner is arrayed as the fifth accused and the investigation is almost completed. There is no allegation of charge as against the petitioner under Section 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC. Therefore, the respondent police is about to delete the name of the petitioner from the charge sheet.

4. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report deleting the name https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.5717 of 2022 of the petitioner from the F.I.R in Crime No.97 of 2022 within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
