By consent, this Writ Petition is taken for final hearing.
2. On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the wife and two female children of the petitioner were affected by the private respondents and the petitioner lodged a complaint against the private respondents before the respondent police and the wife of the petitioner also filed a private complaint before the Additional Mahila Court Dindigul. But, sofar, the police officials did not take any steps for registering a case and prayed to take action on the complaint lodged by the petitioner. 3.On the side of the respondents 1 to 10, it is stated that the wife of the petitioner approached the Additional Mahila Court, Dindigul in Cr.M.P.No.6573 of 2020 and the complaint was forwarded to the police under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C.
4.It is seen that though the petition was forwarded by the Additional Mahila Court, Dindigul, on 20.11.2020, no steps was taken by the respondent police. The respondent police was served with the copies of the complaint. In the above circumstances, the respondent police is directed to register a case and to investigate the matter in the manner known to law. If any obscene pictures or videos were displayed in the Internet, the respondent police is hereby directed to block the same, immediately. 5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
