Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. Admittedly the petitioner is aggrieved by the issuance of patta by the 2nd respondent for a lesser extent has preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent on 23.12.2024. The petitioner only seeks expeditious disposal of the said appeal.

4. Considering the above, writ petition is allowed with a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the pending appeal preferred by the petitioner within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
