O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mudukulathur, Ramanathapuram District to complete the trial in STC.No.39 of 2016, pending on its file, within a period stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 3.According to the petitioner, the petitioner being a senior citizen, has preferred a complaint before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mudukulathur, Ramnad District and the said case is pending from the year 2016. Therefore, he has preferred the present petition for disposing of the said case.

4.In view of the submission made by the parties and also considering the fact that the petitioner is a senior citizen, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mudukulathur, Ramnad District to dispose of STC.No.39 of 2016, pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of 8 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
