ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to act upon the petitioner's complaint, dated 13.01.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent police but the said complaint has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the present petition is filed by the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent received the complaint but thereafter, the complainant has not appeared. If the petitioner appear before the second respondent, then they will consider and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

4. Since the enquiry is pending before the second respondent and recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor 2/4

appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the second respondent on 06.03.2025 and thereafter, the second respondent shall complete the enquiry and dispose of the same, within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order.

5. With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
