O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in connection with Crime No.120 of 2013 on their file before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul. 2.Heard Mr.M.Joseph Thatheus Jerome, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Ramar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes takes for the respondent.

3.Based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.120 of 2013 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 120B, 419, 465, 468, 471, 379 and 420 IPC, as against one Muthu Samy, Selva Kumar and his wife. It is further stated that there was no further investigation, despite the fact that the complaint was lodged in the year 2013. It is in these circumstances, a direction to the respondent to file a final report will be in the interest of justice.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, however on instructions, submitted that the investigation is nearing completion and that the final report will be filed as and when the expert opinion is obtained.

5.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is inclined to issue the following directions:

"The respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.120 of 2013 before the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Dindigul, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order". 6.The Criminal Original Petition is allowed, as directed above.
