This Criminal Original petition filed under section 482 of the Crl.P.C., to direct the 3rd respondent herein to investigate and file a report in Crime No.555/2017 on the file of Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch, Trichy in an expeditious manner and within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court. ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, Additional Public Prosecutor, for the Petitioner and of non apperance for the respondents, this Court made the following order:

This petition has been filed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, C.B.C.I.D, Trichy Range, to extend the time limit fixed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.2792 of 2019, vide order dated 24.04.2019.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that six months further time may be granted to complete the investigation. 3.However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, four months time is extended, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to file a final report in Crime No.555 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch, Trichy.
