Heard the petitioner in person and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

2.The prayer sought for cannot be granted. Merely because the petitioner is an applicant for allotment of a HIG plot, it is not necessary that he must be issued with the allotment. It depends on the petitioner's luck. The allotment is usually based on draw of lots. The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh application. The respondents shall intimate the future announcements to the chamber address of the writ petitioner. With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
