This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents to issue separate patta for the petitioner's property situated at T.S.No.1097 of New Town Survey Ward No.5, Sindhupundurai Village, Madurai Road, Tirunelveli District by demarcating the boundaries on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 18.02.2020.

2.Heard Mr.M.Sankar, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.The petitioner seeks patta with respect to her property at T.S.No. 1097 of New Town Survey Ward No.5, Sindhupundurai Village, Madurai Road, Tirunelveli District by demarcating the boundaries. The petitioner has given a representation on 18.02.2022. However, the petitioner must apply for patta through online in accordance with rules now governing such application.

4.The petitioner may, therefore, take advantage of e-seva centre and apply online for grant of patta. Whenever the petitioner applies for grant of patta, within a period of six weeks from that particular date, the jurisdictional Tahsildar, namely, the Tahsildar, Tirunelveli, Town, Tirunelveli, shall examine the application and pass necessary orders. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
