This petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to give appropriate protection to the life and limb and property of the petitioner and their family members on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 16.05.2014. 2.The petitioner seeks police protection to the life and limb and property of the petitioner and their family members through his dated 16.05.2014. Now, 4-1/2 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
