O R D E R
This Writ Petition had been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to grant permission and to provide adequate Police protection to conduct Sri Aanur Amman Temple festival function, which is scheduled on 18.03.2024 and 19.03.2024 situated at Panchamadevi Pudur, Pavithram Post, Pugaloor, Karur District by considering the Petitioner's representation, dated 25.02.2024 within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2.The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner is the Founder of Hereditarily Trust of Sri Aanur Amman Temple, which is a registered Trust. He had been conducting the festival 2/6
regularly right from the inception of Sri Aanur Amman Temple Trust. This year, the Temple festival is scheduled to be held from 18.03.2024 and 19.03.2024 at Panchamadevi Pudur, Pavithram Post, Pugaloor, Karur District. While so, the fourth Respondent, who was one among the Trustees earlier, now had formed a rival Trust giving out the same address, as that of the Petitioner Trust and he had also sought permission to conduct the same festival, which had forced the Petitioner to approach this Court.
3.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), on instructions from the Respondent Police, submitted that there are two rival claims to organise the Sri Aanur Amman Temple festival. Therefore, the second Respondent had referred the subject matter to the Tahsildar, Pugaloor Taluk and the Tahsildar, Pugaloor Taluk, is likely to hold peace committee meeting.
4.Recording the submission of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Petitioner is directed to attend the peace committee meeting to be convened by the Tahsildar, Pugaloor Taluk.

5.The Tahsildar, Pugaloor Taluk, as Executive Magistrate, shall pass appropriate orders, when both the parties agreed to hold the festival without any hindrance. The Tahsildar, as Executive Officer, shall pass appropriate orders in the light of peace prevailing in the village surrounding the villages within the Police limit of K.Paramathi Police Station, Karur District. The Respondent Police is directed to issue summons to both parties to attend the peace committee meeting convened by the Tahsildar, Pugaloor Taluk.
With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
