PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents to register the FIR on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner dated 16.10.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.RMS.Sethuraman For Respondents : Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, Additional Public Prosecutor.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the FIR on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner dated 16.10.2017.

2.According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner has made a statement before the respondent police stating that since Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15469 of 2017 has been filed seeking remedy, further action is not required. 3.In reply to the aforesaid submission, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not made any statement before the respondent police. Therefore, the respondents have to conduct an enquiry in accordance with law and register the complaint dated 16.10.2017.

4.In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the parties, the respondents are directed to conduct an enquiry in accordance with law. If any cognizable offence is made out, the respondents have to register the complaint in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
