Respondents PRAYER:- Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 directing the respondents to register a criminal case by acting upon the petitioners complaint dated 23.03.2015 and to take appropriate actions in accordance with law and consequently direct the first respondent to depute a special investigation dated 23.03.2015 and to accord police protection to the petitioner and his minor children by giving protection to the life and liberty at the hands of the proposed accused in the premises at No.37/4, Kalavaipottal, Thanthai Periyar Nagar, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District within the jurisdiction of the fourth respondent police. ORDER

This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 directing the respondents to register a criminal case by acting upon the petitioners complaint dated 23.03.2015 and to take appropriate actions in accordance with law and consequently direct the first respondent to depute a special investigation dated 23.03.2015 and to accord police protection to the petitioner and his minor children by giving protection to the life and liberty at the hands of the proposed accused in the premises at No.37/4, Kalavaipottal, Thanthai Periyar Nagar, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District within the jurisdiction of the fourth respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the complaint has been closed as 'Mistake of Fact' on 31.02.2015.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. If the copy of the closure report has not been served on the petitioner, the same shall be served on him within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Liberty is given to the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
