This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register a case on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner, dated 11.11.2017 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.
2.According to the petitioner, a sale agreement was entered between the petitioner and the proposed accused and believing her words that she will execute the sale deed, the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.1,40,000/- to the proposed accused. But, now, the petitioner came to know that he has been cheated by the proposed accused and she is not authorised to sell the property in question and she has not received any Power of Attorney from one Nammalwar. Therefore, the petitioner has preferred a complaint dated 11.11.2017. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's complaint, he has approached this Court with the present Criminal Original Petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the Deputy Superintendent of Police has enquired the petitioner's complaint, dated 11.11.2017 and closed the same and advised the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court to redress his grievance.
4.In the light of the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the petitioner can work out his remedy before the competent Civil Court in the manner known to law.
