No.25/2010/Spl.Tahr/LA, Award No.09/2011-Endapuli Village, dated 1/4

2 W.P.(MD)NO.5913 OF 2024 20.01.2012 and the impugned order of 2nd respondent in Roc.No. 25/2010/Spl.DRO/LA-NH, Award No.09/2011-Additional-Endapuli Village, dated 17.07.2013, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to pay enhanced compensation of Rs.9,98,440/- at the rate of Rs.458/- per sq.ft., for the lands measuring 202 sq. ft., and Rs. 2,14,130/- for dwelling house, together with 30% solatium, 12% additional compensation, 9% interest from 09.06.2010 to 09.06.2011, thereafter at 15% interest on the remaining dues which is still due and outstanding payable to the petitioner.

2. The petitioner challenges the impugned award passed by the Arbitrator. The petitioner has to necessarily avail statutory remedies. Invocation of writ jurisdiction is not in order. Leaving open the petitioner to avail statutory remedies, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 2/4
