ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2025 and initiate suitable action for further investigation in the case in FIR in crime No.385 of 2024 on the file of the 4th respondent within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the mother of the deceased. The deceased was earning Rs. 1.5 lakh per month. It is alleged that the deceased's husband and his family members withdrew the entire money belonging to the deceased and transferred it to five members of the husband's family. It is further alleged that the respondents, under pressure from the landowner, vacated the premises and seized all the belongings without informing the petitioner. The deceased had a habit of maintaining a diary. The deceased had kept her jewels within the office premises without believing her husband. Therefore, the petitioner entertains 2/5

suspicion against the landowner and the husband's family.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Sidd) submitted that the RDO enquiry is pending. The same is recorded.

4. The respondents are directed to conduct a proper enquiry and the apprehension expressed by the petitioner shall be considered. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tenkasi District, shall monitor the enquiry.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 23.02.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No jbr 3/5
