[Made by PARESH UPADHYAY, J.] The petitioner seeks police protection for holding some social / religious function.

2. So far holding of any such function is concerned, no permission is required if otherwise it is in accordance with law. So far providing police protection is concerned, it is expected that the police even otherwise takes care of the law and order situation. Beyond that no other order is required.
