ORDER

The petitioners have applied for the post of Senior Entomologist as per notification dated 07.05.2025. The petitioners claim that though they are having all the required qualification, their candidature have been rejected without assigning any reasons that they are not having the eligible criteria. Since the petitioners' candidature have been rejected without assigning any valid reasons, the petitioners have filed this writ petition challenging the rejection order dated 12.02.2026. 2/5

2.Mr.J.Ananda Kumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents and submits that for the post of Senior Entomologist, a candidate must possess a first or second class B.Sc.,(Hons.) or M.A. Degree or the M.Sc. Degree in Zoology or M.Sc., Degree in Medical Entomology of a University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of the grant and practical experience in laboratory work atleast for three years. The petitioners are not having the qualification of 3 years of practical experience in laboratory and therefore, their candidature have not been accepted on the ground of recommendations of the Expert Committee. He has also produced the recommendations of the Expert Committee. 3.In view of the decision taken by the Expert Committee, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. If the petitioners are still having any grievance, they are at liberty to challenge the 3/5

recommendations of the Expert Committee, in the manner known to law. There shall be no order as to costs.
