The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to perform the programs such as Adal Padal festival on 11.05.2018 at night 07.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., at Church by name Punitha Paraloga Matha Kovil, Micheal Andavar Church is situated at Venkatachalapuram, Kovilpatti Union, Ettayapuram Taluk, Tuticorin District and to provide adequate police protection based on my representation dated 14.04.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner
and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents on 14.04.2018 seeking permission to perform the aforesaid function on 11.05.2018.
4. The learned Government Advocate has stated that the petitioner has made the representation as an individual and also has not furnished particulars and therefore, the said application cannot be considered for granting permission.
5. In the light of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, the petitioner requests this Court to grant liberty to make a fresh representation to the second respondent.
6. Taking note of the above submissions, the petitioner is at liberty to make a fresh representation to the second respondent through the concerned organiser of the function. If any such representation is made by the petitioner to the respondents, the same shall be considered by the respondents on or before 29.04.2018.
7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
