ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, (PCR Court for SC/ST cases), Trichy, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.30/2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2. Since there is no adverse order passed against the respondents 3 and 4, notice to the respondents 3 and 4 is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that a dispute prevails between the petitioners and the de facto complainant, due to which the petitioners scolded the de facto 2/5

complainant by using filthy language along with his caste name. Hence, the de facto complainant lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent police. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, (PCR Court for SC/ST cases), Trichy, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.30 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent police. The petitioner shall surrender before the learned Trial Court within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
